Returns & Exchange Policy
Our goal at Finesse Fly Tying is to make returns as straight forward and hassle free as we can, in the unlikely event that you aren’t happy with what you receive. We aim to sell only high-quality products that we would use ourselves, but understand that there are times you may wish to return an item for whatever reason. In this event, we will refund or exchange (subject to stock availability) any item returned to us within 28 days of purchase in an unused, unopened and perfectly resalable condition.
Unfortunately, fraud has become an issue in today's online environment. In light of this, we must insist that all returns include the original receipt / invoice.
Important - We highly recommend using a tracked & insured shipping method when returning high value goods. Finesse Fly Tying has no control over packages that are lost in transit, and therefore cannot accept responsibility.
We aim to process returns on the day they are received, despite the legal obligation on us being 14 days.
Online Returns and Exchanges
If, for whatever reason, you wish to return your order, we will refund or exchange (subject to stock availability) it when returned to us within 28 days of purchase. All goods must be in an unused, unopened and perfectly resalable condition.
Postage costs will be incurred by the customer; however, if an incorrect item is sent, or we are at fault, we will reimburse your postage costs provided you keep a postage receipt and contact us beforehand, so we can advise on the best return shipping method.
Important things to remember:
- Clearly specify on the returns form if you require an exchange or refund.
- Ensure that all returned goods are unused and unopened condition, with original packaging and labels.
- The original receipt / invoice is included.
Faulty Goods returns or Exchanges
Faulty or damaged goods are our responsibility. Please send such items back to us along with a copy of the invoice and a completed returns form. If an item is incorrect, faulty or damaged we will reimburse you the postage. Please contact us beforehand, so we can advise on the best return shipping method.
Warranty Items
When returning items for warranty consideration, please ensure they are free from grim and dirt. Failure to do this may result in the item being returned to you.
In some cases, the manufacturer/supplier may require to see the item(s) before authorising a repair or replacement. If this is the case. we will inform you. Proof of purchase is also required with all potential warranty claims.
In all cases, we only accept returns from the original purchaser.
